I'm in university for engineering right now, and this is an industry that I have been considering going into when I get out of school. What are things I can be learning/studying/reading/doing in the interim to give myself a head start?

I am already a good programmer and my mathematics ability is not lacking. My weakest point is probably finance, as I only have a rudimentary understanding of economics.
