We are working with a few dev shops. Most of our clients are looking for individual freelancers right now, but occasionally we speak with someone that would be better served by a team.
Ruby, Python, and PHP are the most popular languages. Front and backend web dev are roughly equally popular, but web dev is much more popular than native mobile (the split is around 80/20). We also get some interest in dev ops (chef is a little more popular than puppet, maybe 60/40).
