People seem to forget that the internet isn't just "the web". It's simply not realistic for certain applications to be built on the web (I mean the Wave protocol, not Google's Wave client)

And of course this is coming from a top executive at one of Google's main competitors. They don't have a history of saying nice things about Google, Apple, etc.
