Can't plug that cable anywhere else in the world. Will be sued by apple. etc. Not to mention that if you went linux/android you'd probably also support desktop for "free" after implemeting this over USB and writing the kernel driver.

Yeah - looks like you can unplug the Lightning cable and plug in a USB cable
