OpenZFS launch
ZFS on Linux is OpenZFS ported to Linux. As various OpenZFS users (FreeBSD, Nexenta, etc) add features to OpenZFS the code will be merged upstream then adopted downstream by the other OpenZFS users (including ZFS on Linux).
