The amount of willful ignorance people must maintain to continue to give Trump the benefit of the doubt is fucking amazing. It’s no wonder Nigerian scams work. We have seen it on a massive scale. Some people just aren’t built for logical deduction and have the memory of a goldfish I guess.
I was actually inclined to believe the person I was responding to. However blind belief of things which align with one's biases is ironically enough exactly what not being "built for logical deduction" looks like. It's important to maintain a standard of discourse that expects citations for such claims.
