A non-trivial application of it if you work in a fairly big org and the product roadmap is non-existent/uninspiring: in such context, you will often find exciting projects/revenue streams in the cracks of the system/market, not by waiting for the product/strategy team to come up with these exciting venues (pro tip: they won't)
