There's enough emergency flights around the world each year that you could likely have a daily headline every single day, every single year, highlighting them, if you wanted to. It seems like now the "if you wanted to" has been triggered.
However, does HN get a front page post every time Airbus or any other manufacturer has something break or has an emergency landing? Why not? Why don't they get the same negative treatment?
Heck, 2 days ago an Airbus A319 had an emergency landing in Tampa because of a door problem, why don't I see a post about that on HN right next to this post about a 737 having an emergency landing?
