In a blog post submitted to HN a few days ago [1], the author mentioned Capsul off-hand, and I was surprised it hasn't been posted before (though it looks like it used to go by a different name, so I might have missed something).

Looks like a mini-version of a Digital Ocean/Vultr/Hetzner/etc, running VMs on a single (presumably beefy) physical server in Minnesota. Seemed like a fun premise.
