I live in London and think it’s a fairly correct statement. The conservative government basically imploded as a result of Brexit. We’ve had 4 PMs in the space of a few years, each more degenerate than the last. Covid further enabled cronyism and corruption. Honestly it feels like an Eastern European country with the way the government has gone.

I’m still optimistic that things will improve after the tories lose their grip in the next election.
