They didn't even start the registration for their GPT trademarks until the end of 2022, and now they are threatening people to try and defend against dilution. Sorry OpenAI, that term is now generic. Good luck keeping those registrations that were already granted!

There's a 1½ month earlier RTM application for ChatGPT, OpenAI not surprisingly have opposed it.
