I have to agree. I saw FSF members argue with uutils coreutils [0] developers about having their project licensed under MIT. And for no good reason, they started attacking the project and the people behind it.
I mean if it continues to get better, it will be just a matter of time till we see a cloud provider sepcifc usershell that is closed sourcd and built on top of the rust rewrite.
and naturally its going to have its own features and options, away from the GNU's standard.
then we start seeing every provider doing the same, and out goes the GNU standard, and welcome to proprietary cloud linux.
I was a big fan of FSF until that point.
