I have been following these 'guys' who have been posting their build updates.

Essentially it's an electro-diesel drivetrain.

CAT Diesel Generator hooked up to a battery bank.

I find it cool because, 1. it's a few guys. 2. it's a sort of retrofit.

It makes a lot of sense to basically retrofit standard chassis with this setup.

So it’s basically a diesel locomotive on wheels. Could work.
