Leaked emails show crime app Citizen is testing on...
Is it easier now? Last time I tried (years) app could see location was spoofed so I had to root to spoof better and then many apps could see I was rooted and refused to run.

Hmm, I use an app called "Fake GPS" which works perfectly, but I am rooted (and all apps run fine).

All of my banking apps detected and refused to open in rooted envs. Maybe that changed.

Either it changes or Magisk Hide is doing a good job. I don't know about your specific bank, though.

Download "Fake Traveler" from F-Droid, set it as your "mock location app" in Android Developer options. No need to be rooted.

Thanks! I will give it a try. For context I was playing Pokemon Go at the time and that may be why it was harder.
