I use an Intel NUC as my main home computer. I bought a fanless case [1] and VESA-mounted it to the back of a 4K screen.
It has a good SSD, 64GiB RAM and Kubuntu.
I had to buy a heatsink for the SSD to avoid it overheating without any fans around.
