DSP has also only been out for two weeks. It's got plenty of time to improve things. So far, it's actually been my favorite.

Factorio steam early access started out better than current DSP though and things rarely improve much during early access development. DSP just feels slow and clunky in comparison, just placing down a belt takes forever early game, and later it gets faster but at that point you have blueprints in factorio making factorio still have a much smoother experience.

Also the random undetectable mini elevation changes messing up your building placements making you unable to load stuff from them to the nearby belt are really really annoying.

IMHO, the 2D top view is a way better interface to visualize your huge factories than a subjective view in a 3D world.

I really wanted to enjoy Satisfactory, but I found the first-person view to be frustrating to actually work with.

Also not a fan of how hard it is to get around the terrain in the early game. The jet pack needs to come much much sooner in the progression.

As someone with potato laptop, I am forced to disagree
