Twitter India: Removes everybody who's against the supreme leader.

For all the recent complain about how twitter was "censoring" free speech, this is what real censoring looks like.

In India this is done with a government decree, in the USA I suspect this would have been done with a off-the-record phone call. The key difference is that Twitter doesn't care about Indian politics. In the United States Twitter is politically aligned with a faction of the power establishment. That's why you see a revolving door between Twitter execs and DNC administrations. Twitter is as politically independent from the USA government as Huawei is independent from the Chinese government.

well if the govt says internet is banned so guess what, it is and doesnt matter if lives are lost, careers are gone or education is shot to hell
