I'll give just one obvious one: XML is far more resilient against syntax errors. Miss a closing tag in XML and a clever parser might even be able to infer it. With JSON, you know you're missing a brace at the end, but you have no idea where it should go.

Not trying to undermine your happiness about clean asses, I'm very fond of that myself but that line seems to be hyperbole.
I don't think I've ever registered someone smelling like ass save for a few bums and some very questionable types.
I was about to get it on with tmux, but as soon as Neovim implemented a terminal I was outta there. Seeing as Neovim is has terminal emulator, windows and tabs why do you still use tmux?
Can someone explain to me how JSON is not superior in every way?
