I disagree on the signup.

I think the placement of the signup is quite nice. Why? because my test result accurate depicted my taste and I was curious to see more.

Needless to say, I signed up.

Didn't buy anything though... everything was way expensive.

for me, it was enticing enough to give it a try.

okay, Here's the first thing I tried, because I was actually looking for it:

try to search for: "mashable wordpress theme" ... FAIL! you took me to search the mashable site for "wordpress theme" tags, which returned nothing.

however, when I searched "wordpress theme" ... SUCCESS, kinda. What I was looking for displayed on the right, in recent news.

It's okay. I think something definitely needs to be improved here.

Hope that helps.

Good luck.

Wow! I can't wait for the future to become the present!

Insert "just not evenly distributed" here.

I would agree, the "time poor" issue is obvious. However, I've been testing this out a little and figure to try it on myself first (me managing me).

My first impression--besides idiotwork--is that they really make things simple. They seems to be going for the twitter, microblogging style for management. They really reduce a lot of the fat out of managing tasks and reporting.

I like how it just asks, "What did you do?" Instead of, "what's the progress?" "what are your road blocks?" "are you sure you're not critical path?" I'm not sure if this tool will answer those questions, but I'm not sure if they're aiming to do that either.

But then again, I'm not as "time poor" as some may be.

I'd be interested see how YC companies are valued by this predictor.

YouNoodle may or may not be an accurate predictor, but I bet they're good at predicting which teams/startups are likely to get funding from investors/VCs.

I agree, but I also find it a little humorous. I don't think it's such a big deal.

... but only wants to pay $200 for it.

...and he only wants to pay you with a free tablet!

I didn't see anywhere that the early prototypes would be free to developers: just that they would get first dibs.

He will get his for free of course, as will a bunch of celebs and media tech "stars" etc. etc., but the rest of us will be the ones who have to pay for it.

As long as it's only $200, I don't mind...

Congrats to the Startuply team on launch and TC!

my answer: Enthusiasm/Passion.

suggestion: your question could be better answered through a poll.

I agree. Passion is the best force. And I think you are passionate for two or more ideas, then you picks one that makes some money.
