I thought the WHO were the criminals

I thought The Who were a rock music band.

How are they "the criminals"?

you're not alone

Doesn't sound like progress to me

Is family farming better than corporate farming? If so, why?

good times create weak men, weak men create hard times, hard times create strong men, strong men create good times.

Counterpoint: strong men were responsible for both world wars, and in fact every war ever. Hundreds of millions dead, two sincere attempts at self-extermination by the human race. Good times.

I would argue that weak men (with big egos) sent young men to war, giving them the hard times and the fortitude and determination to make good times for their children (boomers).

Stalin was weak? Mao? This sounds like a very odd definition of weak, cut to fit the argument rather than working with the facts at hand.

Both won wars and ruled over hundreds of millions or even billions. They can't be brushed away, nor any of the other dictators who perpetuated all those historical horrors.

Based on Lenin’s depiction of Stalin, he was paranoid, anxious and easily angered/upset. These certainly are characteristics of weak people. Just because people have power to do what they like doesn’t mean they are strong.

I get the impression that he worked tirelessly to exude the idea that he was strong. Much like Putin or Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow

I will admit that I do not know much of anything about Mao

I dunno dude, Lenin absolutely hated Stalin so maybe he's not an impartial character witness.

I've made my point - OP is obviously wrong and so are you - so that's all from me.

It's a little more subtle.

Strong men take advantage of perceived weakness.

Hitler declared war on Europe and Russia because it perceived itself as stronger.

Japan declared war on USA because it believed it had a stronger navy. It did, but it awakened a Colossus.

What about women

Adopting the term (man) for the human species to refer to males is a common feature of Romance and Germanic languages, but is not found in most other European languages (Slavic čelověkъ vs. mǫžь, Greek ἄνθρωπος vs. άνδρας, Finnish ihminen vs. mies etc.).

Another title might be "The Last Journalist".

With the wardrobe light I'd prefer something simple like a relay that closes the circuit when the door is closed. Invert that signal with a transistor and buddabing buddaboom. Seems like more can go wrong once you start adding programming and iPhone apps and all this sort of stuff.

That's already too complicated. You want a normally closed switch (i.e. on when not pressed). When the door is closed, it's pressed, and the light is off. When the door is open, the light is on.

I thought Ireland was forced to close that loophole. Wow google is such a good honest company.

telekinesis

I wish ! Oh my gosh incorrigible. Well I was thinking more like what's the future of messaging / to-do-lists look like?

Whenever I book a flight google offers to set alarms and gives me don't forget your flight tomorrow notifications. They are obviously reading the email to achieve this.

People with business interests reliant on cheap foreign manufacturing desperate to have tariffs reversed. More news at 11.

When I was a kid my family used to say "you can't trust anything the media says". Now as an adult they all seem to have forgotten this and think I'm odd for my skepticism.
