I used the Vim/Ruby combo for a long time but RubyMine pushed me from Vim to an IDE again (they aren't always bad).

To be fair, having just had a good look at RubyMine, it looks very good.

Did God deal well with them for not following the command of Pharaoh or for lying? It's unclear. The case you are building is not rock solid :)

Endless are the arguments of the Rabbi's.

In all seriousness though, this passage was a big point of discussion in the middle ages. Many were uncomfortable with the midwives apparently being rewarded for lying. One solution was although they were rewarded they were not rewarded as much as they would have been if they had not lied.

My interpretation: The midwives lied in the service of life; the God of this passage rewarded them. Therefore, the God of this passage is a God of life. He does not support needless destruction and is willing to allow his servants to lie if life increases as a result.

Unfortunately, with Biblical Studies it is impossible to build a rock solid case. There is always another persuasive argument just around the corner!

Mark was written about AD 50, so about ~16 ish years after Jesus.

I believe the general consensus is that Mark were written around AD 70, making it closer to 40 years after Jesus.

There's some disagreement. Some date Mark to around 50 AD; others to between 65 and 72 AD.

I hope that she, despite all the naysayers in this thread, excels in the position and garners the support of her employees as well as the larger outside tech world.

I am trying to find out from their site how much they cost. Have you used them in the past?

Yes, Statsheet was denied putting 345 apps in the store for each college basketball team. If we are only allowed to have one app, then the user could choose which team is theirs, and then the front Icon would change to represent their team.

A static icon change would achieve the same thing. You don't need animated icons for that.

To OP of this thread: It was another idle comment. The crux of the request was in boldface.

Changing the icon would make it significantly harder for me to scan and find what I'm trying to run. I worry that it'd be abused with a POTD concept or some such nonsense.

A tighter implementation would be a limited amount over overlay that was configurable -- like the alert # but with more control. The important point being that the underlying icon that I scan for still being available.

MacOS uses this in a number of places to identify download, symlinks and the like.

Does the current version of iOS support static icon changes?

No.
