If this is in [my] browser, why should I pay?

If I go to the grocery store and I grab bananas off the shelf, they're already in my hand, so why should I pay?

you should pay because you did not build it. same as how you pay for a burger that digests in your intestines

souvlakee should vibe code his own clone of BreezePDF and perhaps open source it for the community for free.

Problem solved.

People regularly pay for software that runs on their machine.

> Windows 11 could've been a fantastic OS. Instead of pushing AI crap and adding Copilot to Notepad (I kid you not), Microsoft could focus on fixing multi-year bugs and cleaning up the UI mess.

Imagine if they started on Windows 7, pinned the design, and continued fixing only old bugs. What a nice OS it could be!

I was just going to say this. Windows 7 with security packs + WSL would have been about as good as it gets on Microsoft's side.

As far as I can tell C is not a new language, but rather an alternative workflow for assembly development along with a tool that implements it.

I second that :)

No joke. I'm 100% sure that if it's successful, we will find CC's skill to write specs for CodeSpeak.

Yeah. It's hard to express and understand nested structures in a natural language yet they are easy in high-level programming languages. E.g. "the dog of first son of my neighbour" vs "me.neighbour.sons[0].dog", "sunny and hot, or rainy but not cold" vs "(sunny && hot) || (rainy && !cold)".

In the past maths were expressed using natural language, the math language exists because natural language isn't clear enough.

Did you mean AbstractNeighborDispatcherFactory?

For me personally, the question now is: when will I need to implement all the design solutions the OpenAI team has done, but for my personal pet project, which is on a completely different scale? I have FOMO. E.g, do I need that massive observability stack that any DevOps would be proud of, or are console logs okay? :/

Adding an API can significantly increase the number of users, as it will make it easier for agents to share content.

Thanks! i’m planning to roll out API support soon

Many services have just disabled the CF proxy and use only DNS. If your end server has SSL and can handle some traffic, it might work for a while.

..that's how they canceled a good guy based on telepathic diagnostics.

Yeah this guy got completely bullied lol it's all a little bit ironic

But this decision is not determined by CF. It's how the devs decided.

Trying to figure out if this observation was intended to frame it so that it's less|same|more scary. The effect is more, but it sounds like the intention was less.

The common pasture.

We definitely need a version without CF.

Then the page will just be down for load reasons.
