Ok. First time writing here. Been there: totally alone (four blocks away from my three kids) at 35 -that was 15 years ago-. What it worked: volunteer. Sometimes you'll feel glorious sometimes you'll feel meeh, sometimes you feel annoyed, but I think that's the point. Just volunteer.
