This is a great time to make “Minority Report” a real thing with precogs catching criminals before they can act.

Minority Report was an argument against such practice because there is no possible interpretation of its success.

It can only fail.

A simple interpretation of it succeeding is if horrible things quit happening. What are you on about?

A game where you hunt creatures from Greek myths with sort of normal hunting equipment/guns (which are good for distracting/getting attention, not damage) and an emphasis on traps you can craft. So basically perpetual boss fights.

Considering every animal sleeps on a daily basis, I would say “turning it on and off again” pertains to maintaining the stability of complex state-based systems.

An interesting analogy, but it's worth remembering that we don't actually understand sleep as a mechanism very well.

I thought the analogy of defragmentation was considered acceptable. I stopped doing all nighters a few years ago and the days have become much easier to handle, even bad days. Always getting a good night's sleep is, in the modern vernacular of philosopher-poet DJ Khaled, a "major key alert"

Apparently Mercedes disagrees[0] and will take legal responsibility for self-driving cars.

Mercedes is saying that about their L3 system, which is not yet available. Until that system is available and Mercedes has acted on their stated intent, then drivers are responsible as 40four said. And from your article: "It isn’t clear whether the company can legally take over liability from drivers."

Every manufacturer has responsibility for damages causes by manufacturing defects, whether or not they incorporate that fact into their marketing.
