+1 from me. When I started as the sole (junior) Dev at work I wasn't very good with css. I made use of things like bootstrap etc heavily. Eventually I found tailwind and started using that to augment what I was building, and now I use it solely. Thanks to tailwind I have a much better understanding of css.

> I shouldn't be paying the equivalent taxes that 10 households should be paying

Why not? You may not be making use of the services because of your inefficient use of land, but you do benefit from those services being available in the form of higher land value.

As long as the UBI payout is not tied to the total carbon tax income I don't see how it messes with the incentives.

That product exists. Tobacco free snus pouches.

I’m a non-smoking nicotine user. Should I also be included in the blanket ban by uhaul?

First step of sign up requires an email. Second sep verifies the email is active. Third asks you to set a password. They could be harvesting credentials and reverting on password reuse.

Isn’t reasonable to expect that a tool made to send you email newsletters requires you to give them and verify your email address?

I would imagine that the acts of rape and kidnapping fall into the category of 'life in immediate danger'.

No they don't...? Most rapes are discovered or reported by the victim after the fact.

Mandatory reporting, I think, is intended to flag the potential that this is happening or may be likely to happen in the future.

It doesn't become a crime until it happens though.

Maybe I've answered my own question / outrage? As a rule, I don't support "pre-crime" ideology. What are the definitions of 'abuse'? What household situations point towards the likelihood of future 'abuse' and is this just 'pre-crime'...?

To identify your account and allow the system to take a snapshot of your face for the session.

Why would the card not identify your account? We already have cards that can do this. It seems that the only point of using facial ID is if you want to avoid forcing people to use cards (or if you want to collect and sell their biometrics, but lets assume altruism).
