You do good in competitions when you 'know' the question range. It certainly helps but that alone doesn't make one a good engineer.


You can use technology stacks but designing these technologies themselves most of the time requires math knowledge.


Well learning if - while is like drawing a submarine on paper. How many teenagers can design an embedded software system of a nuclear submarine is a better question I think.
