C does too as a language, but it’s fairly easy to slip up at link time or runtime. At some point the types melt away and you sit there with pointers and offsets. Again, it’s not strictly the language’s fault (I think, I’m far from a standards lawyer).
It’s impossible to tell. If it had taken decades or a century longer because their numbers were higher, they might have had time to start up their own production of technology.
Weakened Iran is not a given outcome. It's a possible outcome. As for Gulf players, the feel suckered by Trump now. The saudis are begging for Trump to finish the job exactly because they are afraid he won't.
