Adding a 3 extra years to the sabbatical sounds like a way to quiet fire those employees who have been there for 3+ years (and probably earning a lot).

Out of curiosity, how can this be enforced?

I assume that they didn't get Scarlett's voice directly but they hired someone who sounds similar to use it for the system.

Is it illegal to hire similar sounding voice actor?

If I, for example, sound very similar to Stephen Fry, would I not be allowed to record audio books because he _owns_ his voice and any similar voice?

I can relate this with a friend's experience.

I got him a job at our company, he got very good feedback from his manager for 3 months, and then, suddenly, they fired him because he was not fulfilling the expectation, even tho he had been praised for exceeding them some weeks ago.

Of course he took it personally, because they were saying that HE is not good enough.

One week later they announced massive layoffs and then we understood that it was because of this upcoming layoffs that he got fired, which is very unfair, because they blamed him (and made him feel guilty) when the company already knew the _real_ reason to fire him.

This is a very niche tutorial that will only be useful for specific developers who work on GitHub actions.

After experimenting and struggling for some time, I wanted to share my notes for people who may also struggle with this.

If you have any suggestions or improvements please let me know!

I don't write very often but I'm trying to have at least one post per season.

Currently failing.

You can find that the free tier is gone in their pricing page: https://railway.app/pricing

They are going to offer a 5$ credit for new accounts and, after that, you need to pay at least 5$ for the services.

More information in their [migration guide](https://blog.railway.app/p/pricing-and-plans-migration-guide...)

I'm seeing that same problem. Most of the blog posts in storybot.dev suffer that problem. They are too generic.

The only interesting ones have a lot of detail in its prompts.

> Engineering is knowledge work. You get paid to know stuff much more frequently than you get paid to do stuff.

This quote is great. Explains how our career evolves into doing less and coaching/guiding more.

I have been working on a Pull Request tool for Unity Cloud project: https://unity-cloud-ci.firebaseapp.com

Basically, Unity Cloud can auto build commits for you but it doesn't work with pull requests unless you set it up manually.

This way it trigger a build for a PR and the set a status check. It's a good solution for people who don't want to set up their CT by themselves.

> 5. I try to use melatonin for sleep, but it just gives me weird dreams and makes me wake up very early

Story of my life. I just noticed because of this article that I have more weird dreams since I'm taking melatonin. Yesterday I took one and woke up at 4am after having a super weird dream.

I had something similar happen after around two months taking 2mg each evening. I started waking regularly. I Quite for a month then started having a quarter tablet every few nights, and the experience has not repeated itself.
